“The Passage Theater Company’s satisfyingly sassy production... [is] directed with decided finesse by Adam Immerwahr.”
-The New York Times (Blood: A Comedy)

“To pull out the rug from an audience and make it gasp even once is an achievement; to do it twice is close to miraculous. Christy does. Adam Immerwahr deserves great credit for directing in such a way to underline all of Christy’s marks and make the script flow freely.”
-The Star-Ledger (Love and Communication)

“Under the direction of Adam Immerwahr, June Ballinger, Kala Moses Baxter, Ross Beschler, Rodney Gilbert and Devon Jordan give individual life and color to dozens of roles... Trenton Lights sidesteps the pitfalls of boosterism and bromides to deliver a rich tapestry of American life.”
-Talkin’ Broadway (Trenton Lights)

“...The audience had a rollickingly good time, exploding with laughs as outrage was piled upon outrage... Part of this is because of Adam Immerwahr’s never-flagging direction. He skillfully juggles each curveball that White throws his way.
-The Star-Ledger (Blood: A Comedy)

The key to the success of this scattershot/scatter-brained farce is the frantic, frenetic pace devised by director Adam Immerwahr. He has coaxed the actors into a wonderfully cohesive breakneck style. -CurtainUp.com (Blood: A Comedy)

“Passage Theatre Company in Trenton has a reputation for supporting civic-minded theater and local talent. If it weren’t for Passage, I think we’d be ignorant of many of the surprising riches that the area has to offer.... The small cast, directed by Adam Immerwahr, is all superb.
-The Princeton Packet (Love and Communication)

Never has tragedy been so comic, nor comedy so tragic. With attentive direction, effective lighting, and meaningful acting, this show provides for an enriching night of theatre... Because most of the characters cannot walk around the stage, the direction must be on a microscopic level, and Immerwahr does not miss a beat.
-Brown Daily Herald (Endgame)
Murder has never been so amusing. Musical Forum's "the Mystery of Edwin Drood" hams it up, and the effect is hilarious... Director Adam Immerwahr has churned out nothing short of fabulous work this year, with "Endgame" last semester and now "Drood."  His success with both productions, one a Beckett drama and the other a musical comedy, demonstrates his versatility as a director. Dickens would certainly approve.
